So I have been posting a lot this month with several new posts on Higher Education Program Searches and My Grad School experience. Believe it or not, there is in fact a reason for that. October is Careers in Student Affairs Month (CSAM). I’ve made post such as “Challenges: Listen to the Musn’ts” or “Where I stand Today (Graduate Edition, Part I)” or a few other posts on my Graduate Experience Page. It is an important time and I would love to express my feelings about Student Affairs as a profession, but others are far better versed in that than myself. Here is a link to a great post about that by a current professional in student affairs: Toward a New View of CSAM. Enjoy!
